Brand New Studio in East Vancouver
After of year of floating hiatus, the main studio creative workspace has landed back in the heart of east vancouver, after over 8 years of being in roberts creek on the sunshine coast. more connection to community, more space, and finally room for a proper piano and isolation booth for recording. initate.
There is grander news about this space as well, that will eventually be revealed. The much larger main area is shaping to be hq and the main launch pad for all future things LOW INDIGO. stay tuned..

'The Last Hunter', a very rich and moving and feature-length documentary film from Felt Soul Media and National Geographic, is now available for free viewing online. This award winning, and academy awards qualifying, beautiful piece of work includes two Michael Red original songs along with works from Loscil and Lusine.

Back again on DJ duties with the Vancouver Symphony's New Music Festival for the official after-event in the mezzanine of the beautiful ORPHEUM theatre. January 18 & 19.
HEALING SOUND project coming in 2019
slowly, carefully.. allowing this project to blossom when the wind and temperature is right. recordings are complete and things have moved into an editing, creation and contemplation stage. so far, yasmeen olya has contributed a truly moving selection of voice and harp towards the project. as it all unfolds. many thanks to the canada council for making this possible - commissioning a healing sound album with focus on sufi and persian influences.
